Are the 'chrome beads' required specifically for anything or just 60's 'bling'? If they're not required, I'm thinking about removing them when I sand blast everything & leaving them off.
I looked at the pics of mine and I don't see any rivets that hold the pivot bracket to the frame. I will have to go out and look and verify it.

I don't think they serve a purpose other than bling.
