I like it, but it would look better in somebody else's driveway, you know?
The color combo and the wheels are killer. |

Re: nice c-10 on ebay! not mine, wish it was...LOL
That dash looks like it was just thrown together. There is a rectangle heater control that looks like it's in a circle hole. oh wait if you look at the dash (just from the pics) he moved some equipment around and instead of redoing the dash he made filler plates and tried to use the existing gauge hole(s). He didn't even color match the filler plates. There isn't even a nice boot or sleeve for the shifter. I hate when you can see wires.
And he put in a 4.8L... That's a slap in the face for a truck that could be a real head tuner from top to bottom. at least IMO. If you are going to go to the extreme with a truck put in a some what big power plant. And the engine just looks thrown in there. It's still got the worn out cover on the top... Also love how the wires are right up against the exhaust with no protection from the heat. The frame work looks like it was just done real quick in some places to get it on the road. But hey what do I know... Last edited by Davidmichael; 07-08-2010 at 05:33 PM. |

Re: nice c-10 on ebay! not mine, wish it was...LOL
Agreed, the chop looks good but puts the bed a little out of proportion. I hate the tailgate and that its leaned forward. Color, wheels, and stance (when laid out) make the truck though. Frame looks rough. Over spray on the main rails and also the drive shaft tunel notch looks un painted and rusting. But the guy is honest, took pics of everything and stated it was a 4.8. He could have lied and covered things up. If you buy this at least you know what you're getting. A lot better than making a long trip to look at it and being dissappointed when you get there.

Check out his "other items". His vehicles have been on a local Craigs List for a long time here. He's about 50 miles from my place.
Admitting I would love to have the 58 Biscayne he has (also on ebay now) in the driveway. Mark

I think it's nice, not the way I would go. Just overpriced imo. It's definitely driven... I think that's a good thing... but again, overpriced!

Nice overall, but really bugs me when someone does that much work and doesn't pay attention to detail (mainly the dash that's killing me). I can guarantee putting gas in that thing is a PITA.
