How good are repo hood hinges???

Anyone use them?? How do the compare to the GM ones???

I have some with some new springs too. They work well. Mine were made in Argentina of all places.

Bought some with new springs as well, got them from Classic Industries last time I was down there and I have no complaints.

FYI-i don't know how much repo hood hinges are but you can buy new Gm for about 112.10 (both sides) #3911705-LH.....3911706-RH from http://www.gmpartsdirect.com/restora...tocategory.cfm

I have heard more bad stuff than good stuff, but there might be more than one company making them. I would use the above part #'s and order them from your local chevy house. It would be worth the extra $$$$ IMO.

mine were new gm with springs from early classic adjusted great and work great! I would say pay the money & go with gm even if you have to wait a little bit cheers, Pat

I had some, and they were junk kept pushing the hood one way and gave me all kinds of problems. Got a pair of NOS ones and put some new springs on and bam fixed the problem.
