differential question

ok i have a 97 blazer its a 2 door 4x4 with a 4.3 and a 5 speed manual trans, the front diff is trash, and the rearend is out of a 2001 blazer, any ideas on which front diff i should look for do to gear ratios?? any help would be great.

Check the rpo codes. 3.42 are fairly common

find one to match the rear diff, both dif ratios have to be the same or you will either kill one or the transfer case
