MI to NC road trip
OK, I have started a road trip from Michigan to North Carolina in my newly acquired 1972 C10. So far I have made it from Temperance, MI (basically Toledo, OH) to Delaware, OH. The truck is doing well so far. It's had a tough time starting up after a rest stop, but I am very optimistic. The truck has not really been driven for at least four years, and I don't know if it has ever made a trip of this magnitude!

Good luck, if anything goes wrong I'm sure there is someone close by. I'm on the southside of Columbus, you'll drive right by if your coming down route 23 or I-71.

Have a fun trip!
Don't forget, if you do run into problems, we have an emergency contact list.

Re: MI to NC road trip
If you haven't done so yet, copy down the list of numbers for the "Emergency Contacts" list. Many board members have volunteered to give out their contact numbers in case you need help along the way. I'm on that list and if you're coming down I-81 through SW Va and have any problems, I have a trailer with a winch.
