Fellow Non-A/C C10ers, Listen to this!

If you're like me, and your C10 doesn't have A/C in it...then I suggest you go down to Wal-Mart right now. For $10 they have a clip-on fan that plugs into the cigarette lighter. I bought this last night, and on the way to work this morning, I turned it on. THAT LITTLE THING PUTS OUT THE AIR!! For $10, it's pretty damn good! I mounted mine down where my stereo used to be, so it's out of site to other people, but moves the air for me. I'll snap a picture of it later today.

Hey, at least it's MOVING air. When I'm driving, it's ok, because I have those vents down in the kick panels, but when I'm stopped there's NO air moving. Gotta have somethin to do it!

not a bad idea. I was in traffic today with no AC with 90 degree temps with high humidity. Boy I was glad when traffic let up. Sounds like I need to grab one of those.

I've lived all over Florida, southern California, lower Alabama, Hawaii, eastern Texas and Georgia. I've driven trucks without a/c in all of them! I wouldn't know what to do with a/c even if I had it. I put the a/c on in my wife's car in traffic and still leave the windows down! I might look into that fan, but I gotta see if my lighter works first. LOL!!!! (Of course, I might want to get the truck itself working first.

im th3e same way as Navybear, its there, but i dont use it. my Chrysler 5th Ave had working AC, and the AC in my 93 worked when i bought it. i've driven the 93 for 3 years now, and i've used it exactly once. when i bought my 86, i decided im going to use it in this one, so it doesnt go south like my 93 did.
