Brake conversion 66 c10

Im sure that this has been asked a few times I have a 66 chevy truck and I was wondering what doner truck wou;d I search for to install front disc brakes on my 66 fleetside. Im wondering if I went to a salvage yard and found that certain truck could I just take the front brakes off of that? Thanks for any advice Jeff In Indy

I got mine off a 72 gmc ......unbolted the control arms and moved it all over......

You can scab them from 71-87 trucks, 71-91 Burbs or 71- 82 Blazers. You will need everything from the spindle out. You can also swap the entire crossmember if your doing a rebuild that makes this easier.
