FS/FT SWB, 5 lug frame.

Okay a few months back I bought this frame from a fellow board member with the intention of using the five-lug stuff on another project. As projects go, I fell into other parts which have changed my course. So back on the market she goes. This is a 71 or 72 SWB frame with a five lug rear and front disc. The frame looks very good, no rust between the rails at the stiffeners and rear cross member; the frame horns also look unmolested as well. The trailing arms look good, no evidence of rust between the sides. It has a power steering box that has been covered or plugged and should be useable. It has all of the brake lines are still intact and attached to the port valve and master cyl. I have good luck selling 5 lug stuff here for almost what I’m asking for this as a roller. I thought I’d put it back on the board before selling it as parts. I would like to get $400.00 for it where it is. I am willing to trade up or down. Dasani

Re: FS/FT SWB, 5 lug frame.

In two weeks I'm going to pull this one apart. Please don't post here for parts yet, I think I have a local guy wants the front end. This is a nice clean frame however and the trailing arms are nice too.

Re: FS/FT SWB, 5 lug frame.

Put me in line. Does it have a trans crossmember? Do you know what gear is in the rear?
How long before you need it moved? I'm on call the next couple weeks and wont be able to get down there right away.

Re: FS/FT SWB, 5 lug frame.

2manyprojects, as it stands you are #1 in line, had a local guy ask for the front 5 lug stuff but, I'm holding out for a bit (it is worth more in parts).
It does not have a trans crosmember, nor does it have engine stands.
I haven't checked the gears, I'll check one day this week and let you know.
Leaving it where it is for a couple of weeks would be no problem and if our schedules work I could bring it to I-95 exit 95(NC) for you for the cost of gas, which would knock four hours off your trip.

Tom

I'll take it. The date and gas money amount works for me. I'll let you know if I think of anything else I need. The plan is to put the 67 on it eventually.
