Re: Torq Thrust IIs in yesterday!!

those are some sexy somma ma beaches! i either want to go with these in a twenty inch or the foose nitrous wheels. i think billet looks better than chrome but chrome is a helluva lot easier to keep clean. get that truck done so you can burn through them purtty tires.

Re: Torq Thrust IIs in yesterday!!

I couldn't be happier its the exact look I've been going for It'll sit a little bit lower once the cab, engine/trans, etc. are all on but I feel so much better now finally seeing it! And they're polished aluminum and not chrome.

Re: Torq Thrust IIs in yesterday!!

The chassis is completed enough to where I have all four wheels mounted up. I'll try and post pics tomorrow of the whole thing.

Re: Torq Thrust IIs in yesterday!!

Thanks! Yeah I'm going to leave it in there, is there a real problem with it or does it just weird people out enough for them to move it?

Re: Torq Thrust IIs in yesterday!!

Those are 1 of the best looking wheels you can buy for Chevy trucks and the look never grows old. I had the same wheels on my Silvy last year but sold them because they didn't have enough back spacing to tuck with my 4/6 drop but I'll be ordering the Summit Racing look a like with the gun metal painted center w/ polished lip in the fall.

here's my old set

Summit Racing brand

There's a reason they sell so many of those - they look so good on these older trucks. Nice choice!

Looks great in person too! Just got home from David's house.

I know David will never mention it, but he passed his final review and became an Eagle Scout earlier this evening. No, the truck was not his community project, even if he is helping the environment, one '67 Chevy at a time.

Congratulations again!

Re: Torq Thrust IIs in yesterday!!

Way to go on the Eagle Scout, David! I never was in the Boy Scouts, but I know it takes a lot to become Eagle Scout. Congrats!!

Now get that truck finished so we can see the whole thing. Actually just ship me the wheels, and I'll throw em on my stepper and break em in for ya till you get done and need em.
