6 Inch Lift kit K5 Blazer
Well a freind of mine wants to get his stock 83 K5 lifted.
he wants a 6 Inch Lift kit under it. anyone know an online shop thats sell a good kit with everything thats plug and play. Been looking at this http://www.roughcountry.com/chevy_4wd_77-87_6.html the blazer is a stock 83 K5 Blazer Diesel is there anything i need other then whats comes in the kit i need what sould i buy for asseroies extended brake lines? T-case Drop?

Make sure to extend the hoses on the differential breather vents. Make sure it comes with good set of poly bushings for the springs. Also, at that height if you plan on any real off road work, I'd look into beefin up the frame around the steering box and swapping to a crossover steering set up.

A 6 inch or more lift may require making the driveshafts longer

6" is right on the border of the stock shafts still working. Any taller will require new shafts.

My old '81 with 6" lift needed to get the drive shafts extended! I have heard that ruffcountry rides like its names states but I have never had one of there lifts in my truck. I wouldn't worry about crossover steering unless you really want it mine wasn't to bad.
