Edelbrock Fuel Pump Clearance Problem (pic)

I swapped an I6 for a 350 recently. The new engine came with an Edelbrock fuel pump installed. I had to remove the fuel line fitting from the pump when I dropped the engine in because it was hitting the engine tower. Well, I re-installed the fitting tonight, but it's so tight between the tower and fitting that I can't get the hose installed. I could use a 90 fitting, but I'm almost positive the pump is too close to the tower to screw it on. Has anyone else had this or a similar problem before?

have you tried rotating the housing? I had to on mine to get the discharge where I wanted it. Those pumps can be rotated 360.

Thanks! I noticed the fasteners all around the perimeter and wondered if that would allow it to be rotated, but wasn't sure. I'll disassemble/reassemble tonight after work. Thanks again.
