72 Blazer Rewire problems
First Post!
I bought a 72 blazer that someone had hacked the wiring harness. Being somewhat of a perfectionist when it comes to projects, i ripped the entire thing out of the truck. Front, engine, dash, read, everything. I bought the LMC full on double rainbow wiring harness and started installing it. The problem is i have forgotten where the rear wiring harness comes through the firewall. Can anyone post a pic of where these wires should pop through? Thanks for the help everyone. I will post pics soon. |

First off this is the first post about wiring that has ever made me laugh
 (dbl Rainbow...not because you forgot where the wires go)Second, the wiring should go through a square box/hole on the driver side firewall below and more outwards than the brake booster/steering column. If I remember right (all my wiring is tore out too) there is a junction box there that connects the underhood wiring to the in cab wiring. I can get a pic later today if you need. Quote:

I was just lookin' at mine the other day, rite above or below the throttle cable. Round hole, about 1", 4 wires, green and 3 others. Toooo dirty to tell the rest of the colors

the thing needs a wash, a new drivers side rocker, and passenger front wheel well and its RUST FREE! Thank God! Also needs some TLC and paint.

Not to confuse the issue... but here are a couple of past pics from the board. See the wires headed down through the clip on the firewall on the yellow truck?
