bottom hose help
i got a different radiator, and the bottom hose is very tricky there is almost a 45 bend right in front the wheel well could i get a flex hose for it or would that be too much pressure

the bend is there I believe so the lower rad hose doesnt rub against the frame.

could i use a flex hose, i have not been able to find a molded hose that will work but i've been told that a bend like that on a flex would be too much pressure on the neck

if the flex has the the internal spring I dont see why not. parts stor doesnt have a lower rad hose for a 72?

no its a different rad that is about 1 1/2 inches longer than the original and i already had to drill new holes for the brackets, i don't believe that flex's have an internal spring

You can get that molded hose from places like Napa AP, and probably every vendor has one to sell you. The flex hose would be a last resort IMO...

Lower rad hose part# for the (oem style radiator) are for the.... GATES# 20694.... and if you want.... DAYCO #70664..... The GATES will have internal support spring the DAYCO will have no spring, either one will work with your truck as I have used both in my k10
