Sold one of my trucks...
Well, I came across a guy who made me an offer I could not refuse...my blue/white 72 daily driver has a new home! The new owner is a local cat and plans to use it as a shop truck/swap meat hauler. I am sad to see it go, but the family needed a bigger vehicle (We got an 02 GMC Yukon XL ) and I need funds to move forward to completing my project build. I am having a cold one right now, thinking about my next move on the project. Here's to you Old Blue

Re: Sold one of my trucks...
Wow, Scott, I didn't think you would let that one go. That was a very fine pickup. Glad you got more than what a fair deal on it. Congrats, and I will be looking forward to seeing your other truck transform into something sweet. Trevor

Re: Sold one of my trucks...
Congrats on your sale!
That sure was a solid truck, and when I saw it I actually thought about the idea of owning a 2 wheeler... I know what you were asking at the show, did you get more or less what you had your mind set on?

Re: Sold one of my trucks...
Thanks for all the comments!
I got VERY close to what I was asking...which really surprised me given the bedside damage and a LOT of low ballers that came out of the woodworks (get in line Brandon . ) I did not advertise it on here or Ebay, I just put a sign on it at Brothers truck show and an ad in the local CL. I wanted the person who bought it to put their hands on it and know what they were getting, no BS. The final person who bought it looked it over for less than 30 secs and made an offer, paid in Benjamins, and drove off. I was able to pay for the new (well 02) Yukon, add to the savings acct, and have some funds to keep the 72 BBC SWB project moving forward. The Yukon and myself recently made a trip to Rene's "C/10 Corral" up north, pulling the project right behind it. A near mint original SWB bed was saddled up, bolted on, and now ALL sheetmetal on my project truck is original GM, 100% rust free
