You would have a better chance asking this question in a classic ford truck forum. The volare clip was used and still is use on a lot of classic ford trucks. I have done them on chevy's but most people have always used the GM clip on chevys. The chevy's I've done them on I used a SBC with engine is offset to the passenger side because of that bulky steering box. Sorry to recommend another forum but its true about the volare and the classic f100 and after all we are here to help people. I will pm you a link to the site that will most likely be able to answer your question.
