dana 60 front, 14ff rear question
Guys i have decided i want to put a dana 60 front and 14ff rear in my 86. I plan on 4:10 gears and lockers.
My question is what years and makes do i need to be looking for these axles in? thanks |

i know for the 14 bolt any older chevy 1 ton will bolt right in

front axle is the same. any Chevy front axle bolts right up.
as for the rear, i know certain 14 bolts will bolt up and some will need to have the perches on the axle moved to fit. |

in all fairness the 14 bolt will be easy they came in most 3/4 and 1 tons 2 or 4 wheel. look to pay about $200 and about $30 in new seals
the 60 will be the b@tch only in k30's from 1974-1987(or 1991 in a crew of the same body style) look to pay around $900 or $1000 for a matching set (f/r)
