Re: What is a fair price for this 1978 SWB Pickup?
I think that last guy stole my dump idea. Mine is almost exactly like his, except for the color.

Re: What is a fair price for this 1978 SWB Pickup?
The black dumper is nice, but my white one is nicer because I have a better interior (at least I have an interior).
$7500 isn't bad for an OEM type straight truck all built up, but as many here have discovered, finishing an interior is not cheap, and without A/C in Tucson you will be soaking wet in sweat all summer. Even doing all the work yourself, I'll bet an OEM matching interior would be $3-4K + $1 -2K for A/C complete. That brings you up to $11,500 - $13,500 for a truck that probably gets 6 mpg. A brand new V6 base Silverado can be had for about $16-17K, with A/C and will start every time you turn the key. |

I'll give you a deal. You can buy mine for 10k and it'll start everytime, get 26 mpg, cold a/c and the interior is pristine
