Where can I find? 73 heater control w/ac

I need to find a 73 heater control with a/c for my truck. The slide for the temp has frozen and will no longer move. I check LMC and they carry only the w/o ac. Any ideas.

Did you try soaking it with WD-40, etc?

Re: Where can I find? 73 heater control w/ac

Classic parts has heater/AC control for 74-80 for $105 + S&H, don't know about 73.
Here is a tip - I worked in a GM plant that made these heater control assemblies a long time ago, and I can tell you that many of the controls would stick when coming off the assembly line. There was a rework person (or two) who would work on the levers with a screwdriver, hammer, channel locks, and lithium grease to "adjust" these controls. Needless to say, these are not precision manufactured items. So, I would try to coax the levers first. Just be careful, because these are just spot welded and the welds can break easily. My guess is that the lever on yours jammed due to age and lack of grease, then bent when moved. The levers are just very inexpensive stamped metal. You should be able to carefully "unbend" it. On my control, a slide lever end snapped off just below the knob, so I replaced the whole assembly.
