04 chevy avalanche front passenger window won't roll down
I check the circuit that goes to the passenger side window. I even swap the driver side circuit to see, if the other was bad. still didn't work... Any solutions? Anyone could give me.

You need to check for power & gound to the window motor itself first. If you have power & ground to the window motor, the motor is bad.

Re: 04 chevy avalanche front passenger window won't roll down
not sure if it helps - but I've been through 4 motors on my driver side door (go figure). First one replaced under warranty by chev - the rest on my own dime. The last 2 I replaced myself - it was surprisingly not difficult at all.
My last great find was this - Autozone usually has the motor and race in stock, about $90 (I think) - and it's got a lifetime warranty! It went out once, and they absolutely did replace it for free, all I had to do was dump the broken one on the counter. Pretty good deal. They may not be the quality of a GM part - but in my case, the 2 Autozone motors lasted longer than the 2 GM motors... (breaks my heart to say that) Anyway - in case you determine it's the motor once you look inside the door - this might help you out a bit. The other failure I've noted is the cabling gets frayed and comes apart on the rollers - that was the reason I replaced on of the motor/race combos. jocko |
