opinions wanted on using these for rear bags on a '67...
yeah, i just kicked open the door!
i dont want fast, just load control and dependable. THANKS! Amazon.com: Firestone 2178 Dual Gauge Ld... Amazon.com: AIR LIFT 25592 Load Controller II On... (not sure this one will support pressures for hauling) i posted almost the same question in the '67-72 forum... but i rambled about usning schraders at first so i think my point is being missed. please forgive me. |

if it's just for load control, i would buy two bags, 2 fittings, some air line and 2 schrader valves from ***************** and call it good.
use them like you would air shocks |

Re: opinions wanted on using these for rear bags on a '67...
thanks Shane. that's exactly what i'm gonna start with but i feel that at some point i will want to go up and down on the spot.... but that is where a 12v or batttery mini compressor may work for a while!
these "controls" apear to have slow up/down built in.... seem like they would work for what i want.... just waiting for somebody to tell me NOT to use them with bags ony (no steel springs) |

not meaning to sound pushy but i would save my money and buy a real compressor, tank and valves once the budget allows ... you won't be happy with the limited duty cycle and the run time of those tiny firestone/thomas compressors.
hope this helps ... |
