bezel with tach conversion
found a cheyenne with a tach...... I have a gmc without all the lower guages temp, oil ............. Will this work without any major modifications............. do I need that wiring harness

GMC Paul has a how to on swapping a non gauge dash over to a gauge dash here: GMC Paul Tips
Me personally, I'd grab the harness out of the other truck and change it as it's not that hard to change out. Get both the underdash and the front engine compartment harnesses. Robert

And the tach has to be hard wired. It is not wired through the harness.
