would you like to sell the 3.08 posi carrier? I would buy the whole rear axle but dont see any advantage to driving to Kansas and back just for that.

I really don't want to seperate and be stuck with a bare housing and axles. I'll let you know if I change my mind.

Could you measure the width of the rear-end?

Not sure how to word that any better? If it's the narrow/early style, I know someone who might be interested. Is the vin on the frame readable? What year does it say?

The rear is a factory 71/72 5 lug so it's the later/wider rear. I would have to check the vin, but I believe it to be a factory 71/72 chassis.
