bed cross rails

Question about the cross sills on a chevy longbed. How many big rails and how many small rails?? I know the big ones are the ones you bolt to the frame and the small ones just get bolted to the wood floor. But,,,when i took them off i didnt keep any little ones cause they were trashed..... So any help would be appreciated and pics would be great....thanks

Re: bed cross rails

In a long bed there are seven sills and one tail pan that attach to the bed. The three in front are matching, one long one in the middle, one short one in the middle, and two matching ones out back. Not sure if this is what you wanted or not.

Re: bed cross rails

The three in front and two in the back match each other. The two in the middle are both shorter in height as well as length but do not match each other. So it sounds like you may be missing one of the long tall ones as well as both middle ones. If you have pictures that would help.
