1972 C10 for Sale in NC

Any of you guys know anyone in NC who may be looking for a good 1972 C10 truck? My dad is interested in selling his due to some health problems that require some extra money. It is a 72 C10 longbed, yellow, brand new paint (yellow, not perfect but looks good), 350 motor and tranny, 3 on the collar, great clutch, power brakes, no power steering yet (he has the box though)runs great, not sure of actual mileage on the engine, he bought it about year or so ago from an older lady who bought it brand new. She said they replaced the motor around 85 or 86. This truck is super tight to drive. I have never ridden in one that shakes less and has less road noise. The seat has recently been reupholstered in gray. Looks very good. Tires and wheels are less than a year old and have less than 3000 miles on them. Doesn't smoke or leak fluids. New Flowmaster exhaust that sounds fantastic, especially when you let off the clutch coming to a stop. I just spoke with my dad so I don't have any pictures yet to post but I will get some to you if you are interested when I go by his house tomorrow or Saturday. He is asking $5,000 but will negotiate fairly. He doesn't really want to part with it but he is having a quadruple bypass next week and will be out of work for a while. Otherwise, he would probably never get rid of his baby. I will be glad to answer any questions through PM or regular posts.

We are located in Creedmoor, NC. That is about 12 miles north of Raleigh from Crabtree Valley area. I don't have any pictures with me here at work but I have one at home that I will post this evening.

Sorry to her about your dad. That is a good looking truck, but you have a ford in the background depreciating the value of that 72. Does the bed have a spray in bedliner in it or is it painted black?

Hey 72ChevyGuy. From Charlotte it is about 3 hours straight down I-85. You would actually come straight down I-85 through Durham and it is about 10 miles past Durham heading North.

It does not have a heavy duty spray in bedliner. It does have rough textured, rust resistant black liner.

Hey 72ChevyGuy. 85 and I40 join up in Greensboro and then split again a few miles outside of Durham. You would stay on 85 to get to our place. Check out the link and look for the star for a better idea. We are actually about 12 miles from both Raleigh and Durham. It's kind of in the middle to the north.
