Brake help
I am in the process of installing a new booster and MC. I have had the old setup off for so long I can't remember, but, when I connect the rod to the peddal the peddal sits back a little from the clutch peddal. Is this normal, or do I need to lengthen the adjustable rod? The setup I got is supposed to be a direct replacement for the '69 3/4 ton 4x4. Thanks.

Re: Brake help
If the truck was converted from non power brakes the pushrod on the truck is not long enough. You need a power brake pushrod. The original can only adjusted so far before you run out of threads.

Re: Brake help
It originally had power brakes. I guess I will just have to adjust the rod. I just didn't want to adjust it when I shouldn't. Thanks.
