OEM Manual Question

Over time I have found a couple of Motors Books and the infamous Haynes manual covering my 85 C-30 but I really need to get a factory manual. Question being; Will any service manual from 85-87 be basically the same? Anything specific to an 85 compared to the 86 & 87?

Found a cheap 84 manual and one for an 86. Yet hydraulic brakes weren't introduced until 85 so I doubt the 84 manual would include that chapter.

Suggestions are appreciated. For some reason, at least on ebay, 85 manuals tend to be higher in price compared to the similar years. Just wondering if any real differences in these years.

Thanks,
Mark

Re: OEM Manual Question

What do you mean by "hydraulic brakes weren't introduced until '85"?

??

The only (major) difference I can think of is the introduction of TBI in '87. Other than that I would guess they're all pretty much the same.

Re: OEM Manual Question

My mistake, Keith. I should have said hydraulic clutch. Can't believe I forgot that after my recent trip down that memory maker!

Is that the only thing added from the 83 and 84 the factory manual would have missing?
