Re: whitewalls yes or no
You asked for opinions...
I feel whitewalls have no buisness on 90% of the cars that get them, and I have NEVER seen them look good on a truck. |

Re: whitewalls yes or no
Maybe with full hubcaps, but even then the ww is too wide.

Re: whitewalls yes or no
The theme of the vehicle is what dictates whether or not you use whitewalls and what kind it is.
When these trucks were new, whitewalls were just stripes...maybe 1/2 an inch. But, raised white letters, red stripe, gold stripe, and other dressy forms of whitewall were not uncommon. If you leave the truck as it is, I vote no whitewalls. If you go with a theme that is more retro, i.e., Fifties-style, then whitewalls MIGHT be okay. The width you show in the second picture is not right for these trucks, expecially on a rallye wheel.

Re: whitewalls yes or no
Here's four that I saved. Don't know whose they are, but I like the way they look. Again, my thought is that the theme is the decider. Notice that all are lowered and none have rallye wheels. One has trim rings, another has Salt Flat wheels.
