got this truck off my dad. he bought it with a bad trans. we put a used trans in the truck. motor is a rebuilt 350 with 60 thousand on it. bed was shot so i picked up one off a friend who was putting a flatbed dump on his 3/4 ton. i need to replace the rocker and cab corners. got the corner. i am still waiting on the rocker hopefully next week. my friend stopped by to give me a hand putting the bed on but by that time it was too dark for a pic.

forgot to mention i had to strip the interior to get all the glass from the previous owner never cleaned up to well. and the dog hair all over the inerior. my dad bought the truck and it has sat for 3 years so he bought it put the trans in it the it sat. now i have it.

future plans are a solid axle swap. custom front bumper. tint the windows. oh and paint. for right now i want/need to get it on the road as my 1991 s15 jimmy will not pass inspection this year. too much rot from being a new york truck before i got it and the previous owner did some creative work with bondo and cardboard if you get my drift.

pics of the truck with the new bed on. switched the composit head lights out for the dual sealed beams. got a red headliner at the junk yard that was in like new the only extended cab at the yard and it was the color i needed.

well i guess i have some parts to get rid of. the composite headlights because i swapped for the dual sealed beams. i like them better. was going to use the roll pan that was on the box i got from my friend but with the trailer hitch that is for a stock bumper it will look stupid. so no roll pan. have a spare hood that i am going to turn into a cowl hood eventually. well the wife had to run a few places today so nothing done on the truck as it is a my father place. i was on kiddy detail today. hopefully my rockers will show up this week so i can get that done. also my white faced guage kit came in the mail today.

well got the trailer hitch installed today. didn't put the bumper on because i have to pull the box back from the cab to replace the cab corners. also got my dash piece for my cd player.

got my white face guages installed.new wheels and tires. well used but new to me. they are a little skinner but they are my winter tires. my father gave me a tool box he had laying around for the truck. my new rockers should be here tomorrow or thursday finally.

well got my tracking # the rockers are on their way. finally i have been only waiting three weeks for these and the were supose to be in stock. what a crock not doing business with them ever again. but they are giving me a partial refund for their screw up. hopefully tomorrow afternoon they will be here. alos picked up a gmc grill so i may swap the chevy one out for the gmc. i like the gmc grill better.

fed-x should be here tomorrow with my rocker. had to change the brake booster and master today. three years sitting the master leaking and the fluid rotter a hole in the booster.luckley i hada spare laying around from a parts truck my dad and i bought a few years back. got that fixed today. tomorrow my father and i gota put a trans in my wifes jeep grand cherokee. so no work on my truck till wifes truck is up andrunning. you know the saying if the wife ain't happy you ain't happy. also painted the air cleaner gloss black but forgot to take a pic.

rocker finally came. got a pic of the freshly painted air cleaner. also not sure if i want to put this cab spoiler on the truck or sell it. tell me what you think keep or sell. if i don't use it i'll probably end up putting it on the pile of stuff to sell. like the composite headlights and fiberglass roll pan.

forgot to mention i got a gmc grill givin to me so i am going to swap the chevy one out for the gmc. i like the look of the gmc one better. also got the white tailgate fixed so the red chevy one is gone. now all i have to do is find a gmc horn button and cab emblems.

lose the spoiler IMO. Man im glad we dont have winter like yall do. That rust is horrible!

yea i decided to not use the spoiler. well the cab corner were replaced once before and it was a shotty gob. they just cut out the rust pop riveted the new on and bondoed over that. mine will be fully welded.

well got the cab corners and rockers on. i also got the truck trandsfered and insured. gotta get it inspected this week. my 91 jimmy the bottom end of the motor started knocking yesterday. so i will be dropping that off the insurence next week. pics to follow.

well i got this wild idea that this 2000 something chevy bowtie might fit my truck. i had it laying around from when i worked for a company that did accessories. changed a lot of these for billit ones. i had to drill two holes to mount it with the studs it had but i think it looks good. i think it fills the center bar better than the orignal one did. sorry if the pics are crappy it wasdark when i finished and really cold too. it is bigger too.

i know i want to find a gmc grill for it but the wife said no modifying the truck. it runs and drives so no f#&king with it. espically since her jeep still isn't running. hope to fix that today. my father and i have to swap the trans out. once herjeep is running i told her we are selling it and getting her a gm. i will never buy another jeep/mopar as long as i live. i have had nothing but headach from the day i bought her that jeep. trust me more mods in the spring. i plant to lift it, paint it, and rebadge it with gmc stuff.

well got my lenses from sarge261. had to fix a few cracks but the are in better shape than mine were. i bought a can of that vht night shade lens tint and tinted them to hide the cracks in them. i also had a spare pair of corner reflectors and lamps so i tinted them too. i need to get one more parking lamp and i will tint those too. maybe even the tail lights. i might just black out the whole grill. hopefully in a few weeks the truck will be a soild red. wifes jeep is also at the tranny shop. 400.00 bucks to fix the valve body. i hate jeeps. never again i will stick with gm. told the wife we are selling her truck once it is back from the shop and getting her a s series blazer or jimmy.
