Re: What did you get done 10/10/10/10/10/10 edition
I bought back the crewcab shortbed that I traded Josh......I'm excited to get it home and start working on it...most probably going to be picking it up and have it in my garage this weekend...
Also, went and bought a ton of tools from the Snap-on guy to help start up my interior business at the house and so I have some reliable tools to work on projects... Also, I swap the th350 into the diesel...the 700r4 took a dump this weekend...does anyone know if the flexplate, crossmember, and driveshaft are the same? Installed new lower door carpeting and wheel well moldings. Thankfully the molding covered two small dents on the lip of this fender.

Re: What did you get done 10/10/10/10/10/10 edition
Work says we have the day off tomorrow, but this week-end?
Cleaned the shop and mowed the pasture I hope for the last time this year in 87 degree temperature in October? An annual service on the furnace and generator. Making use of a 3 day week-end to have a 'day off' on Monday, Columbus Day to call my own, maybe. And of course, unloaded truck and trailer and stacked firewood in the old corn crib we now use as our 'wood shed'. Got it done! Mark

I got the exhaust on the Cutlass yesterday, sounds really good and really compliments the new engine also towed home a 1995 grand am that we picked up for $200. Supposedly only needs a starter & battery, so we'll see

Re: What did you get done 10/10/10/10/10/10 edition
Hauled home a new truck with a weight limit way over the rating of the trailor I borrowed from my stepson, managing to make the wife so mad she just went to bed and didn't kiss me goodnight, or anything....... Guess I'll have to figure out a way to make it up to her. If it was a Chevelle, she'd be cool with it though. I don't get it.

Re: What did you get done 10/10/10/10/10/10 edition
I was busy all week and the weekend just not with the trucks. I did manage to buy a new car hauler trailer . I am too tight to buy a new one so I was lucky enough to find a used but almost new 18 footer. I picked it up and love it . I havent hauled anything but the build quality is very nice . It is a Diamond C trailer built using 5x2 heavy wall main frame and 3x1 crossbraces and a 5x2 tongue. It is full tube not c channel. The guy even upgraded it to the 225/15 tires over the standard 205 series. It is almost new as it was bought new in July,2010. This weekend we spent driving back to Dallas where my sons participated in the livestock judging contest . We had a good showing and my oldest placed in the top 10 . My youngest did great considering this was his 3rd competiton ever . Arrived home at about 6pm so the weekend was gone but it is definitely worth it seeing my sons participate and having fun.

Replaced my front brake pads, new rotors, and wheel bearings on the 86 and towed the 2000 durango to the mechanic shop because it gave up on me at a red light!

Finished up the power steering pump swap on the 87. Cleaned the garage up some. Nothing too exciting. Mother in law is in town the next 3 weeks, hopefully I will make a lot of progress on all of my pet projects!!

Smoked my lenses with night shades, installed purple neons under the Blazer, installed some fog lights behind the grille, installed 1 speaker on the drivers kick panel [hope to do the passenger tommorow] put green LEDs on the back of the console facing the rear seat, painted the cowl, replaced my reverse lights, and stuck a halloween graphic on the side of the truck.

Saturday I put two new rear tires on my truck, swapped out a better spare tire for my dads truck, and god rid of all the junk tires I had at the house. Picked up a new tool cart from harbor freight they had on sale, went to the local cruise in and sand blasted a rally wheel I had

Ordered a dash pad cover from Stitch, and uhhh....hauled some boxes and trash. That's about it, really. Oh, I finally reinstalled the power steering system on my Honda, so I can actually park it without having to wrestle the steering wheel every time.

Re: What did you get done 10/10/10/10/10/10 edition
I've been eating a lot of god damn turkey... as it is turkey day up here in kanada.... still one meal to go.. =/
other than that.. i slapped half a test stand together so i can break in my cam n crap so it's ready to drop it.. built with treated lumber.. so it's very slightly flame resistant... or does the chemicals make it go up like gasoline.. ack.
