Re: Tilt column disassembly

Thanks for the info! The newer tilt column was not removed "gently" shall we say from the other vehicle, and the shifter tube is down over the slines of the steering shaft. I cannot get the coupler on it, and the tube is stuck in place. I guess I'll take it apart, and if it won't work maybe I can repair the original column.
