Selling my truck (Alaska)
Regretfully after 8 years with the beast it has come time to part ways. I'm due to PCS to Texas soon and to be honest I'm not going through another Summer without A/C. When I get down there I plan on starting over but for now I can't afford to ship the truck to TX nor do I want to drive it there.
The truck is not your traditional Alaska truck in that it is not 4WD. I managed to drive it no problems up here for the last 3 years though so take that with a grain of salt. 1972 C-10 Custom Deluxe LWB, Fleetside 350, Holley 600 4 barrel 700-R-4 new interior (dash pad, carpet, sound deadoning pads, etc) List of parts purchased within last 2 years Distributer (points, condenser, rotor) Holley 600 Carb, electric choke Radiator Battery Tires and Rims Starter and Flywheel Alternator Thermostat The only problems at the moment are the power steering leaks (I've yet to see one of our trucks that didnt, LOL) and the carb needs to be adjusted. It is running rich. I plan on putting it on the lot here for $3500 or best offer. As with all vehicle sales most likely the price will dip the closer I get to August 1st. (thats when I drive out of here) If interested send me an email at paul.fleming@nw.amedd.army.mil |

I'll try to find some. I scanned some last year and posted them but the search deal didn't work last night when I tried. I know about roasting in Texas. I'm not saying it can't be done but I grew up in San Antonio and after owning 4 cars down there all without A/C I'm not doing it again. Especially if given a choice. LOL.
