73-80 frt end on 81-87 truck

how hard is it to put a 73-80 front clip on a 81-87. and any pics. thanks

It has been done both ways quite a bit on here. Do a search for clip swap and you will find a ton of stuff to go through.

Amen to that! I plan on swapping a 73 clip onto my 90 crewcab as soon as I find a nice donor truck to pillage matching clip, doors and box from. I'd also like to go with the full side trim/two tone to look like my 76 Blazer..

Very easy swap. just be sure to get the 73-80 wiper wet up so it will clear the hood. check out my build thread. I did it in one day.
