New addition- 1968 C-30
Hey everyone, been a few years since I posted on here but thought this was worth showing off.1968 C-30 157 inch wheelbase,327 engine,4speed.I'm the 3rd owner.Originally bought by an ironworks company in vancouver I'm told it was used for the foremans truck thus the low miles 56,xxx or so.A fella I went to school bought it off the guys widow. When he retired they gave him the truck.Thats the story anyways and i beleive it only because theres so little rust and everything is so tight on it.Tires, exhaust, brakes, seat have all been redone recently,327 pulls awesome, drives down the road unreal(hands off the wheel @ 60 mph and its like an arrow)Plans include repaint to original color, mount winch on the deck and enjoy!

Very nice! I know where a dark green 157" 68 c-30 is, and it also has a 327 4 speed.

Re: New addition- 1968 C-30
Nice looking truck, I'd be tempted to put a dovetail on the bed and mount a winch and use for a car hauler.

Cool truck!
Looks like someone already changed out the wheels to solid tubeless. How's your RPM on the highway?

Re: New addition- 1968 C-30
that is awesome!
The rear should be 5.13, it came automaticly with the DRW option, as did the marker/ID lights on the roof, and working side markers. |

Re: New addition- 1968 C-30
It's not too common to see a trim package ordered on a DRW cab'n'chassis. That's a great find.Andy's right on the gear ratio with 4spd trans.A 4.10 unit from an automatic C/30 or C/20 can be dropped right in if you want a taller gear.
