Looking for 454 w/781 or 049 heads
i'm looking to buy a decent 454, i'd also prefer to have a set of either 781 heads, or 049 heads with it, dont matter if it runs or not, but would rather have one that hasnt been bored before (i know beggars cant be choosy)

check out HAMB......there is one for sale in Harrisburg PA, has a spun rod bearing but is complete with 049 heads for 350.

The H.A.M.B. that I know of Jalopyjournal.com's forum. It's a message board for hot rods, and they have a classifieds too. I looked through the first 10 or so pages of it and found a 454 running with low miles...no details about it though (like head #'s). Below is the link to it. I didn't see the one mentioned above, but I didn't look too hard and could have easily missed it.
