2.5 inch Rams horn on a 72 C10?

Bought a set of 2.5 inch, straight dump, corvette rams horns for my 72 C10, 350, TH350. Two muffler shops told me the turn coming out of the manifold is too tight. I've searched the post and it seems several people have done this. Is there a technique or trick to use these? Does anyone have any pictures of how the down turn out of the manifold was accomplished?

it's old, but you might give PICKMUP a call and see if he could still help you.

The only real way to make it work is to mount the V8 in the 6 cylinder spot which should work fine. If you have ever looked at 4X4 truck, you be amazed at how far back the motor is.

Blake,
I had the same problem, no shop would make the pipes. I put on the truck ram horns and no problem since....
