Spicer Driveshaft

I have been looking for a drive shaft for my 65 GMC fleet side LB and was wondering if a shaft out of a mid 80's to late 90's one piece from a standard cab LB work?
Then a fellow gear head gave me a shaft that won't work, said it was out of a 57 chevy truck, on the end it said Spicer U.S.A. My quiestion is is it stock? Did Spicer make shafts for GM in 57? Thanks, Ron

Re: Spicer Driveshaft

It may work you just have to take a tape measure to the local pick-a-part and see. I don't know if spicer made shafts but they did make ends and yokes for the shafts back then
