Where to buy a universal fuel sending unit?

I am making a custom fuel tank for my 71 gmc. Where can I find a 0-90 ohm sending unit. I have searched and found everything but what I am looking for.

VDO makes them, also check local marine(boat) supply store. They have ones that are adjustable in depth.
