cab and rad. support mounting kit install

Hello, is it hard to replace the cab and rad.core support mounting bushings on an 1986 reg. cab silverado. any special tools needed. blocks, jacks. I already have the whole mounting kit. Thanks for any info.

Which kit do you have? Also the hardware (bolts,nuts,retainers, washer's) may need replacing if rusted badly.

I got 4 cab replacement bolts at Chevy dealer but they were slightly different than originals. I ended up getting the 2 longer core support bolts at Home Depot.

I also got GM nos rubber bushings and retainers.

Sometimes people have problems with the caged nut breaking loose and free spinning so try and shoot as much penetrating oil in there as possible.

I bought a complete kit from l.m.c.. It came with everything. rad. core support/ cab/ and bed bolts,

Ok just finished changing out the rad. Core support and cab mounts on my 1986 1/2 ton silverado. It went smooth, didnt throw 1 wrench. I loosened up all 3 on one side. Jacked up the body about 4" took out the old ones cleaned and sanded all areas. Used permatex rust treatment on all areas and painted w/ rattle can paint. Installed new mounts,lowered body installed new bolts w/ loctite, repeated steps on other side. Took about 2.5 hours to complete.
