Re: post your 67-72 4x4

It took 5 months to build- working evenings & saturdays. Had to cut 12.5 inches out of the frame to shorten the wheelbase. Thanks for the compliments.

what lift/tire size/wheel backspacing? also as for using the sm465 was your truck equipped with that originally or did you adapt a 2wd version?

Thanks,
David

Re: post your 67-72 4x4

Im not entirely sure on the lift im guessing 4-5" front and around 6" in the back. Wheels are 36x12.5 military oz. I have no idea on the backspacing all i know is they stick out pretty good. The sm465 came in the truck from factory. I did have to make a custom linkage and z bar to use it due to the massive primarys on the headers

Here is a picture of mine. Its not finished yet, but I'm exited to have it look like a truck again. It has a 6.0L gas engine with a 74 mm turbo setup with a th350/np205

That is one sweet ride, can you post some pics of the engine with the turbo setup? What did the turbo set you back money wise?

I have a 72 of very similar set up lift wise(it's the black version of yours with different motor)...do i see anti-wrap bars on your truck? If so are they custom made by you or what brand? Thanks
