Red face Snapped U-bolt Today???

Anyone know what the u-bolt torque specs for a 70 C20 with leafs is? I think I over torqued the new ones I put on when I pulled some leafs because I snaped one right in half today. These were some universal ones that I got at the local auto store. They were not as thick as the ones I pulled off and they did have about 1/8th to 1/4 of an inch of slop between the leafs and the bolt on ether side. I think I am gonna just go get a set of new originals and put those on but until i get them ordered any help would be apreceated. Thanks

HotRod

Hotrod, if you can snap a u-bolt with a hand wrench...they are junk!!! Factory spec is 150 ft. lbs.
