Somethin' ain't right here. I can cruise at that speed in my 60, got a 350 with 700r4 windows up or down, headers with 40 series flowmasters and it really isn't bad. I think you must have some kind of vibration issue. I rember having a 90 with a 350 towing a trailer in 3rd gear from Michigan to Florida and the drone about drove me crazy. Something about pitch as compared to volume, two different things.
