89 C-1500 drag truck setup and specs

Had a few people ask me about what setup im running in my 89 drag truck, well here is the setup and times tha last time we ran it....

1989 Chevrolet Cheyenne 1500
505 ci BBC w/ Dart 325 heads
1050 Dominator w/ NX Fogger
Hooker super comp BBC headers ( 454ss truck)
TH375 w/ hipster trans brake

Stock frame rail w/ ladder bars
ford fab 9'' w/ 4.56 gears
31x10.5w tires

Qa-1 Coilovers on all four corners

Ran 6.30's 1/8 mile and 9.90 1/4 mile on motor
Ran 5.89 on a 200 shot 1/8 mile

Trucks currently tore apart getting updated.

-565 Shaffirof BBC
-New cage
-Motor Plates
-Custom Headers
-Many other updates

will retain full interior, and be street legal (w/ radials)

462ci, forged crank, H-beam rods, 10.5-1 KB forged pistons, Dart Iron Eagle 308cc, Straub Cam, Comp Cams chrome moly full rollers, Weiand Team G, Prosystems 950, TH400/3500 Dalenzie stall, Currie 9+ Detroit Locker w/31spline axles.3.5/6in drop. My Build.

This truck is so clean it belongs in a magazine and it probably would make it to one or two. But the best part about this truck is that its not a trailer queen. Awesome job sir.

The new 565 is over 900. should be a good 200 more hp than the 505. I'm hoping for 5.80s on motor, but that may be pushing it
