Firewall question

On the firewall, in the engine bay side there are a lot of studs sticking out on the right side by the heater core pipes...are these the bolts that hold the heater box in? If I pull them out will the heater box drop out?? Sorry for the dumb questions but I am looking to take this stuff out as easy as possible.

Usually on other Chevy models (I am unsure on early trucks) there are screws on inside also.

There are 3 bolts that hold the heater box and they are close to the in and outlet pipe.Mine are very long about 2.5 in
