Re: CL, is it really worth this much?
I would say it is fair, just because of all the work. IDK if he/they put $85K into it, but it is possible with paying labor prices nowadays. think if they charged only $50/hr and you have 1000 hours in it for body/mechanical repairs.... there is $50K right there.... I wouldnt do it but if I had $30K and wanted a blazer, that is the one I would buy, nothing to do to anything, just drive and play with it. You cant get a 2010 4x4 tahoe with all that for $30K now can you?

Re: CL, is it really worth this much?

Re: CL, is it really worth this much?
My only complaint...and this is very nit-picky...is the fact that he says "Restored". When I hear "Restored" I think it was put back to factory correct.
Now if he had said "Rebuilt" or some other term, I would have thought nothing of it. But that thing is N I C E!!!

It's a good lesson in "What you spent isn't necessarily what it's worth."

Is that a dull paint on the pass. door? Maybe it's just the pic. Looks like a nice rig.

Compared to some I've seen that is a deal. All the work is done. All that it needs is a owner that want's it!

WORTH is determined by the buyer. Not the seller.

Re: CL, is it really worth this much?
I'd be interested in knowing if he has actual receipts totaling 85 G or if he is "guesstimating" I guestimate that I have a jillion dollars in my 67 ;-)
I have built lots of stuff and know for a fact that its much quicker to assemble something from all new parts than to try to fix old rusted and worn out stuff like I do......If I were able to just order everything new and put it together, I would have much less labor cost......and a hell of a lot more fun

Re: CL, is it really worth this much?
Anyone who would spend $85,000 restoring that, has to be nuts.
