Thanks dieselwrencher, we've been working very hard finishing the bodywork on the 52'. I bought a new toy today to speed things up a bit.

More Paint! The rear half of the truck is almost finished. Next week the rear fenders, bedsides, front bed panel, and tailgate will be sanded and 3 more coats of clear will be applied. Sorry for the crappy pics. DeWayne

Your metal work is absolutely astonishing. I've honestly never seen anything so clean, smooth and filler free.

Can't wait for more.

We're in the final stages of bodywork on the front sheetmetal. I'll post more pics next week after the truck is ready for paint.

Thanks

Re: Nsane 52' Chevy Truck!

Looking back at your firewall and other fab work made me curious what gauge steel you use in different places? You make it look like its soft aluminum with your fab work (i know its steel).

Re: Nsane 52' Chevy Truck!

another great project, it's young guys like you that are going to prevent the art of fabrication from being forgotten. I think most guys on here will agree that you are definitely a master craftsman, made even more evident by your willingness to share your trade and knowledge with us. you keep building and we'll keep watching.

Re: Nsane 52' Chevy Truck!

Thanks JJ, we're spraying raptor liner on the back side of all the panels on this truck. Normally we paint the backside, but the owner wanted the undercoating on this one.
