What headers for a Gen IV 454 in a 64 c10?

My budget is approx 200 and I have to buy them off Amazon. Ive been looking at Hooker 2454 and a few different ones like FlowTech and Hedman. So what kind of headers do you have on your BBs in the 60-66 frames. Did you have to notch your frame?

You can also use BB for `69 camaro any MFG....you just might have an issue with the trans crossmember...

I used Hedman long tubes for the '73-'87 trucks. Sorry I don't have the part number handy. These won't work if you're ridin low. And yes you will have to trim the top flange of the frame. If you're running a manual trans, these won't work with the original mechanical clutch linkage.

I just used a set of swapmeet headers for a 73-91 454. Have no idea what make but they fit in there pretty good. We did fab custom motor mounts to fit the 396 better though.

Hooker super comp if you can find them.. A good set of headers that are tuned for power will make a larger difference in total power output. I dyno tune for a living and a good header pipe vs a poor pipe is a large gain or loss. You can go crazy if you want I have Rob McCabe here but price on his SS stuff starts in the 2000+ range, but then when you build headers for nascar I think your prices go up just cuz HA HA
