New Column Question???

Bought a tilt steering column from CPP, installed after driving a few time the Neutral Safety Switch (NSS) broke apart on me. Before you ask, no binding, bumping against anything etc. Replace with another NSS samething happened. In the process of sending it back for warranty. Before I ship it is has anyone experience the switch breaking apart on them? Appreciate the replies.
