Power Steering Brackets and Pumps
Not a real Chevy expert even though I have been around them for 30 years and swapped tons of SBC and BBCs , not real sure on the interchanges on power steering pumps and brackets
I have a late style pump from a late 70s Chevy (tear drop shaped housing)and a bracket set from the early style pump one with the oval filler and round resivior, will the later pump fit on the early brackets? I ask this because there is a cobbled up PS pump set up on my 62 with a 94 TPI v8 engine and I hate to take the whole thing apart and find out it won't fit, I like to keep the truck mobile under its own power I am running factory ex manifolds and the current bracket set up was supposed to attach to the manifold somehow but that part was missing |

Re: Power Steering Brackets and Pumps
No problem- I actually ended up using an older style pump with the same brackets.
