Winfield Show & Parts

Anyone in south central Kansas going to the Winfield Car, Truck, and Bike Show Sunday the 22nd of June? Believe times are 09:00 AM to 4:00 PM at the Winfield Fairgrounds by Walnut River on west side of town. I plan on being there with my 71 4x4, and I think barn9, Yukon Jack and Blazerboy will also be attending. Hoping to see you guys there. Kid, I think also is planning on being there. Have not had the pleasure of meeting Kid. Anyone else from the board going perhaps?

I have a set of 5 lug 15" x 8" ralleys, caps and rings for sale I can bring to the show if anyone is interested. Five wheels, 5 caps and 5 rings, lugn nuts included. Not show but would clean up nice. Asking $150 OBO for all five. One wheel still has a P255/70R15 "Remington" tire mounted, useable as a spare.

Also have still on my parts truck, complete 71 Chevy 5 lug disc brake set-up. Full crossmember with rotors, calipers, spindles, A-arms, coils, whole nine yards. $150 OBO Have proportioning valve and non-power master cylinder, working when loaded the truck on trailer. $35 for the set. $175 for all.

Nice, useable non-tach gauge set complete with printed circut back. $30 OBO

Anyone needing a in-cab fuel tank? Have three with working sending units. One 67-70 style and two 71/72 style with EEC. $50 each, choice.

Anyone interested in above parts and planning on attending I can bring any item from above except the front disc set-up. It is still on the truck. I will be close to a blue 71 1/2t 4x4 LWB.

Hope to see some board members there!

I'm probably going. Still unsure right now, I had back surgery the 23rd, but being optimistic.

I think Warbones is planning on it too.

What condition are the center caps in? Do they require screws throught the outside to mount them to the rim? Any pics?

Caps are all in nice shape with the Chevy logo in the center. The center logo on the one cap I consider as the "spare tire" cap is a bit faded. The caps all attach to the wheel using original coarse threaded screw, missing one screw. Also seem to be missing one lug nut. Don't have any pics right now but if you are coming to the Winfield show I will load everything in the truck and you can look at them up close and personnal. Let me know if you want to look at them. Thanks for the reply.

I don't think I'll be able to make the Windfield show but those of you who do keep your eyes peeled for a red 62-66 Chevy PU. Saw it at the WAM Mopar show tonight in Wichita. This is the nicest truck I believe I have ever seen first hand. The bed is awsome, inlayed wood flames!!!! I'm not talking about some cheezy amature job, this thing was first class craftsmanship. Unfortunatly I didn't bring the camera with me since I didn't expect to see anything out of the ordinary. If you see it and can take some pick please post pics of the bed or email them to me. It's a true work of art. Thanks....Stroker

Well it looks like I'm not going either. Waited until the last minute to see what kind of stamina I'd have. Don't think I could do a lap at Walmart if I wanted too.

Guess I'm going to hope one of you studs get some digital pics and post them for my lame arse.
