How about pics of those bed floors?
I have a bagged '67 C-10 and I have a 12in notch. I'll either run a raised wood bed for a stock look, or do something more extensive. I'd rather see 67-72 swb floors to get more of an idea of what mine could look like.

![]() I don't have any saved right now but I like the raised floor look better than a big notch (most of the time) When I have all the parts together for my dream truck build ![]()

Re: How about pics of those bed floors?
How much higher is the notch than the floor now? It's hard to tell from the pictures. I am trying to figure out the bar minimum, might have to get creative with my flooring.

Re: How about pics of those bed floors?
You're welcome.
Here's the idea for mine when I build it... I'm going to do some subtle changes but the raised wood with the smooth strips is a must....

Re: How about pics of those bed floors?
Delmo's bed floor is very close to what I am working on. That looks like a great height if it will clear the Porterbuilt notch.

Just because something was missed, does not mean that it was acceptable.

This is what I thought about doing, but raise the tubs to the top, not flush but the bottom of the bed lip. Also, if I'm correct the notch you have, one that comes with most kits, is 9in? I'm at 12in I believe, or setup for a 32in tire. I'd thought about doing that setup but making the wood and cutting the tubs to allow for a rasied floor without a notch, but who knows lol. That's why I asked for pics so I'll know what I like. I like the way this one will look. I thought about a stainless notch cover, it would look sweet with nice wood. Posted via Mobile Device |

Re: How about pics of those bed floors?
I'll see what I can get by with but that one is a little higher than I'd want my tubs. I'd like to keep it atleast and inch lower. I know a guy that built a 85 crewcab extended cab aka Rockstar, and he had his tubs level with the top of the bed. I like the raised floor look though, nice clean stained oak or something. Thanks for the pics!

Re: How about pics of those bed floors?
My goal is to keep the tubs bellow the top as much as possible. I want it to look as stock as possible so those who don't know, don't know.

Re: How about pics of those bed floors?
That's what I want, with the exception of a compartment at the rear I can raise to get to my gas tank when I relocate, and my air tank and compressor. I still haven't thought it thru yet but would like to be able to have access if i need it.
